Clean your air cleaner and more cleaner in carb change your plug. How long did it set without running

Check the air cleaner – the most over looked part on scooters.

Most of the time carbs don't need a rebuild kit or money spent on'em. I'd recommend that you squirt some GumOut cleaner into the fuel line to the carb. Then remove & dump the float bowl. Put an 'inline' filter on the fuel line to help it run great. Good Luck !

how do I fix a 2006 Honda metropolitan scooter that hesitates and runs poorly?
My scooter ran very poorly at idle then when I gave it some gas it stalled. Then i put some carb cleaner in the intake and it ran alot better, but it still hesitates at high speeds.It also will not go top speed. Does the carb need rebuilding?
