What kind of motorcycle am I looking for?

I want something really simple. Simpler than a Honda Nighthawk but something a little more manly than a scooter. I'm looking for something with really good gas mileage mostly. Probably something with an older style. Imagine a bicycle with a motor attached to it. Does anyone know if this exists?

Search the internet for a 52 triumph 500cc. They we're built for the army and at the time they made tons of them so there not hard to find. You want a bicycle with a motor? That's your baby right there.

  1. A Honda Rebel 250 sounds like your best choice. Not very quick mind you, but it can at least go 75-85mph plus they get 55-65mpg. Pretty hard to beat. You can pick up a slightly used one in decent shape for around $2500. It'll last forever too!

    More Manley than a scooter you should look at scooters for real they have changed a lot and as far as more manly I would be worried about that on a rebel. Kymco makes a Venox that is twice the ride for a lot less money. But Manley I am a man no matter what I ride and cover all the ground I stand on no matter if I ride a Vespa or a Harley my money, my payments, my ride.
